The cats were quiet this morning, “Ralph” has not shown up for the last four feeding times…”Daniel”, his brother has.

Ah, it’s is not easy; but kittens will investigate things, even things such as snakes — I, and the other cats, will have to cope.

OTHER NEWS:

The yard sale area is taking shape — indoors and out…I have been trying to label what is in boxes which are stored on shelves for the present.

Dave is out on the tractor, moving brush, dragging logs ‘breaks’ into place for the parking area.

I don’t know if we will be going anywhere after lunch, or not. Dave mentioned psossibly getting a load or two today; if it wasn’t too cold…it is chilly; but I don’t know if we’ll get anthing this afternoon.

OH! If you have not guess, I am writing this post using a re-juvinated (old) computer Dave install PCLinuxOS on. It seems to be doing great. Also, it is the second machine on the network at the yard sale building. The Mac is acting a as gateway machine to access the wireless network in the loft at the Q-hut.

How much yard sale material/stuff do we have?

Just the items from the old PCH stock has given us a very cluttered look to the once empty rooms and shelves.

The loads are gradually getting down to extra shleves, display racks, tables, display cases, and misc. odds and ends.

Even so, we hope to have the ‘room cleared’ at the old PCH location by the 31st of March.

It his quickly approaching.

But a good portion of the work has already behind us; we just have to pace ourselves and keep that page ’steady as she goes’.

I will touch base again with more about our progress, later. For now I need to go across and see about cooking lunch.

Take care,

All the cats showed up for feeding time this morning; but “Ralph” did not eat, just drank a good bit of water, then waundered over to a sunny spot in the grass and fell over — I fear the snake bite may be fatal for him…

Daniel, his brother, also with a swollen ‘bite’ on the neck was up eating, and ‘being a cat’.

For now, I can only hope that the day goes on without losing any of them.

London’s Da Vinci Code copyright trial — a suspenseful thriller itself — continues to pack in the crowds. Last week, Dan Brown was in the dock to defend what he calls the “completely fanciful” case brought by Holy Blood, Holy Grail authors Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh, who claim he lifted the “whole architecture” of his massive best seller from their 1982 nonfiction book. His 69-page witness statement is littered with tips on how to write a blockbuster.

‘Impeach Bush’ chorus grows
Sarah Baxter, Washington
THE movement to impeach President George W Bush over the war on terror began with a few tatty bumper stickers on the back of battered old Volvos and slogans such as “Bush lied, people died” on far-left websites. But as Democrat hopes rise of gaining control of Congress this autumn, dreams of impeaching Bush are no longer confined to the political fringe.
