I’m exhausted…but I guess I had better make sure the re-stoked/stirred fire doesn’t ‘take off’ before I call it a night.
Where am I typing from?
No, not the kithen table, nor the desk in the workroom…for those of you who might not know, Dave has been constructing an upstair room, joining the Q-hut and the trailer.
With only a few pieces needed to be fastened down; it is near completion. Stage one — it is a sun/green room. It helps to heat the place during the day; and it is the warmest spot in the evening (since heat rises).
It even has a two-bulb shop light installed.
As I said earlier, I will be calling it a night very soon — typically I am a ‘night owl’ — but tonight I can’t seem to think of anything but crawling between warm covers, and snoozing.
It could be the relief from the rain ending late tonight (after dark) — or the temps dropping, or simply that I am very tired, for various and sundry other reasons.
Ah, yes and I am also try to finish a bit of beer — so it won’t be left in the glass overnight. Tis a bit warm; but it could help me sleep better.
It tis gone; the fire seems well-mannered, highway traffic is about average; and my toes are about warm enough — so I think I will shut the shop light off, check a few things again, and call it a night.
It is such a freedom being able to type my thoughts here using my laptop — I really should do it more often. But I seem to be drawn to the MS box during the day — trying to get the stacks sorted/priced in the workroom.
Seems I am rambling more than usual.
It rained from 1:00am (overnight) until about 7:30-8:30pm — the cats were not happy. I could not feed them their dinner until the rain had finally stopped. 5 very unhappy, wet and frazzled cats did a very ‘happy’ dance and shared their dinner without any squabbles that I am aware of.
Tomorrow?
Well, it shouldn’t be raining.
I will know further about it when I wake up.
Until next I do get in the mood to write; please keep posted, I will do my best to refresh/add new item to this site.
Of course, it could be anything — from crafts, and rumors of movies, or ancient history tidbits.
It just depends on my topics of interests.
Thank you for reading.
